"I remember the first game that I officiated in at Hilldale High School in Muskogee," local attorney Marc Bovos said. "I was part of my father-in-law, Hal Dowden's, crew who went on to be the white hat in the Big 8/Big 12 officiating crew."
Bovos has since joined the ranks of being part of the Mountain West Conference as well as the Big 12 officiating crews including working the national championship game between Oregon and Ohio State two seasons ago. However, Bovos will be changing conferences as he will become part of a Southeastern Conference officiating crew beginning this upcoming season.
