People seeking in any number of areas will be able to see what community resources are available during a first-of-its-kind event on June 15 in Poteau.

The Community Resources Network will hold a Services Fair from 10 a.m. to noon at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Center. The free event is open to everyone.

More than 30 agencies from throughout the area will be on hand to provide literature and guidance as to what kinds of services are available.

Service areas represented will include adult, youth, disabled, veterans, substance abuse and community resources.

The Community Resources Network meets twice a year to help with clients needs that may cross to another issue and require the help of a partner organization. This is the first time the organization is inviting to public to meet the agencies' representatives and leaders and discuss what kind of help is needed and what resources are available. Kibois Community Action is coordinating the event in partnership with the Poteau Chamber of Commerce.

For more information, contact the chamber at (918) 647-9178.
