Hungry like the Wolf 5k upcoming

Get your paws ready to take off for the fifth annual Hungry like the Wolf 5k and two-mile fun walk scheduled Feb. 17 at Heavener High School.

Proceeds from the 5k will go to benefit the Heavener track and cross country teams.

The race starts at noon. Cost is $20 per person until Feb. 2 where prices then bump up to $25. Plaques will be awarded to top three male and female finishers and medals to the top three in nine age groups and top three overall walkers.

The first 200 to register will receive a T-shirt. CV’s, Heavener First Baptist Church and other businesses will provide hot dogs and drinks after the race.

Early packet pickup will be from 9:30-11 a.m. race day or 3-4 p.m. the day before.
