Local athletes to participate in All-State Games next week

Six local athletes will represent the area, as well as play in their final high school athletic events in next week’s Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State Games in the Tulsa metropolitan area.
Four of the six locals will be up Tuesday for the All-State Baseball Games at Oral Roberts University’s J.L Johnson Stadium. Poteau’s Ben Klutts will play for the Large East against the West at 7 p.m., right after Panama’s Tristan Thompson and Red Oak’s Cody Muncy and Morgan Crenshaw will play for the Small East against the West at 4:30 p.m.
Howe basketball player Braden Dorsey will play for the Small East against the West in the All-State Small School Basketball Game at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the ORU Mabee Center.
The final local athlete to compete during next week’s event is Talihina offensive lineman Trevor Trowbridge will play for the East against the West in the All-State Football Game, which will kick off at 7 p.m. Friday at Union-Tuttle Stadium.
