The Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association announced Wednesday that the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) Network is offering up to two cameras for member schools that currently lack production capabilities.
Heavener's Shaelena Bacon signed with Oklahoma Wesleyan University for women's basketball on Monday. Bacon, who graduated this spring, was a central scorer for the Wolves and will project as a post player at OKWU. Last season, OKWU went 17-13.
The Spider Webb Memorial Tournament will be July 10-12 at Wolf Ridge Country Club. This is a two-person, four-ball tournament. The entry fee is $500 per team with a maximum of 80 teams.

Two new coaches started running workouts for their teams this week, baseball coach Ryan Tucker and girls basketball coach Tad Bradley. For Tucker, this is his third head coaching stop. Bradley is in his first stint after graduating from Southeastern Oklahoma State University last month.
