BREAKING: Swift water rescue on old 112 and Williams Road; flooding threatens Panama homes

The Pocola Fire Department Swift Water Rescue team underwent a swift water rescue Monday, between 1 p.m.-1: 30 p.m. on old Oklahoma Highway 112 and Williams Road, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Also, homes at the end of Joy Lane in Panama are being threatened by rising waters. Emergency personnel are helping fill and place sandbags around five duplexes surrounded by water to help prevent damage to the homes.
