Pocola softball pitcher named MVP of Black Diamond Conference

The Pocola Lady Indians won the Black Diamond Conference title this past fall season, so one of their key players, pitcher Sammie Kuhns, was named the Black Diamond Conference's Most Valuable Player of the Year earlier this week. Kuhns was joined by teammates Courtney Hargrove, Morgan Francis and Summer Perkins, Heavener's Jodie Hill, Makenzie Wilson and Jacee Manley and Talihina's Kayla Himes. Heavener's Cheyanne Cranfield, Sydney Crase, Emily Yandell, Makaylee Wilson and Erika Lemay, Pocola's Chloe Demato and Macae Pipkins and Talihina's Madison Hill made honorable mention.
